  • Manual pressure is applied to muscles with static or dynamic movement to reduce muscle tension and improve muscle recruitment and synchronization during exercise completion.

When muscles become tight, they impair mobility, function, and cause resultant pain, these techniques can improve quality of joint movement, reduce muscle spasm, and improve circulation to muscles.

  • Dry needling is a specialized service provided by physical therapists that utilizes round-tipped needles to release deep muscle trigger points (localized or referred pain areas) through multiple layers of muscle.

The release of a muscle trigger point stimulates a local twitch response that reduces tension and pain in the associated muscle, improves function and exhibits near instant positive changes in muscle quality.

Dry needling can effectively treat the deeper trigger points in muscle that aren’t accessible through hands-on manual techniques and are the potential drivers for your symptoms.

  • Instrument assisted soft-tissue mobilization utilizes stainless steel instruments of different contours to manipulate skin, fascia, muscle and tendons with use of different scraping techniques.

The intended purpose is to break down myofascial restrictions, improve muscle tension and stimulate a local inflammatory response to improve blood flow and remodel targeted tissue.

  • Kevin is specialized through Barbell Rehab in analyzing lifting form with bench and overhead press, squatting, and deadlifting for form correction and modification to maximize efficiency.

After analyzing form, we work through each component of the lift, broken down into its individual parts and are able to adjust joint angles and give tactile cuing based on each individual’s physical build to improve the overall quality of form, minimize pain and maximize power output.

Lifting analysis is applicable to beginners and veterans alike with everyone’s build demands requiring different specific modifications.

  • We use cups with a suction pump on the target muscle for improved circulation, reduced muscle tension and promotion of healing.

Cupping can either be done statically or with movement to actively release muscles and improve mobility restrictions.

The process of cupping usually leaves red or bruise-like marks which is indicative of improved blood flow to the involved area but these marks will fade within one week or two.
